A total of twelve Industry Supported Satellite Symposia or Non-CME Presentations are available during MSVirtual2020 at $110,000 USD each. Satellite Symposia offering certified continuing medical education (CME) credits are preferred; however, certification is not required to host Non-CME Presentations at MSVirtual2020. Accreditation is the supporter’s responsibility. In accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), Industry Supported Non-CME Presentations that include employees of commercial interests may not be certified for CME credit.
Requests are accepted and assigned at the discretion of the MSVirtual2020 Scientific Program Committee on a first-come, first-served basis. The Scientific Program Committee and the accredited CME provider adhere to the standards of independence as defined by ACCME. The opportunities described in the Industry Exhibition & Support Prospectus recognize the valued contributions by commercial interests to the social and networking opportunities of MSVirtual2020.
Organizers must complete the Satellite Symposium or Non-CME Presentation Preliminary Agenda application to indicate their intent to organize a Symposium/Non-CME Presentation during their preferred time slot. Satellite Symposia and Non-CME Presentations will be held during the following times with up to three running concurrently:

Symposia or presentations are organized and entirely supported by third party organizations.
The nature of the symposium or presentation, including selection of topics, must be oriented to an MS-relevant educational goal. The topics must complement, but not duplicate, themes or sessions in the official MSVirtual2020 programming.
Speakers and co-chairs are to be invited by the symposium or presentation organization. MSVirtual2020 is not responsible for honoraria or registration fees.
Initially limited to one symposium or presentation per organization. Additional symposia or presentation slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the discretion of the Scientific Program Committee.
The organizer must complete the Industry Supported Satellite Symposium or Non-CME Presentation Preliminary Agenda Form to indicate their intent to organize a symposium or presentation and rank their preferred time slot. Requests are accepted and assigned at the discretion of the Scientific Program Committee. Preferred time slots are not guaranteed, and all time slots are final.
Symposia or presentations are limited to 60 minutes and start and stop times must be strictly adhered to.
All education within an approved Satellite Symposia / Non-CME Presentations must be prerecorded. The prerecorded session will be made available during the assigned time slot. A live Q&A will take place virtually, immediately following the prerecording. The complete recorded symposium or presentation will be available in the MSVirtual2020 online meeting library following the meeting.
The number of Industry Supported Satellite Symposia, Non-CME Presentations or Product Theater in which any one participant may be involved as a presenter, discussant or chair is limited to two. If a participant is a chair and a speaker at the same symposium, presentation, or theater, it will be considered as only one activity.
Procedures, rules and regulations will be provided at a later date via an Industry Supported Satellite Symposia or Non-CME Presentations Manual, to assist with your planning efforts and will include information regarding slide submission instructions, presenter registration processes and audiovisual information.
The materials presented during the symposium or presentation are the full responsibility of the organizers, including obtaining all appropriate copyright permissions and licenses for materials presented or distributed.
Branded product names may not appear in any title, advertising materials, or materials distributed at the symposium or presentation.
The number of Industry Supported Satellite Symposia or Non-CME Presentations in which any one participant may be involved as a presenter, discussant or chair is limited to two. If a participant is a chair and a speaker at the same symposium or presentation, it will be considered as only one activity.
The sponsoring organization must submit a final symposium or presentation agenda including titles, chairs and speakers to the Scientific Program Committee by Wednesday, July 15, 2020.
Any derivative materials created for Industry Supported Satellite Symposia or Non-CME Presentation require approval from the Scientific Program Committee.
For CME accredited Industry Supported Satellite Symposia, MSVirtual2020 will include the following statement within the virtual meeting platform at the start of the symposium and wherever listed on program materials that reads: “This activity is an independently supported Satellite Symposium, not included in the MSVirtual2020 accredited program. CME certification provided by [Company name].”
For Industry Supported Non-CME Presentations, MSVirtual2020 will include the following statement within the virtual meeting platform at the start of the presentation and wherever listed on program materials that reads: “This activity is an independently supported presentation, not included in the MSVirtual2020 accredited program. No CME credit provided.”
