The presenting author of an accepted abstract must register and attend MSVirtual2020. The presenter registration deadline is Friday, August 21, 2020. Presenters who do not register by the deadline date will be dropped from the program. Please note that all presenters are responsible for their own registration expenses.
If more than one abstract by a given author is accepted and scheduled for presentation during the same session, it is recommended that a co-author present one of the abstracts.
An accepted abstract should be withdrawn only under extraordinary circumstances. If you are unable to find a replacement presenter and must withdraw your presentation, please notify us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Abstracts and featured research accepted for presentation are embargoed until published on the MSVirtual2020 Online Program. Full text of Regular Abstracts will be published on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Full text of Late Breaking Abstracts will be published on Friday, September 25, 2020.

MSVirtual2020 Poster Presentations will feature a multi-slide presentation with option for a short audio recording.
PREPARATION OF POSTERS
OPTION FOR AUDIO RECORDING
Poster presenters have the option to add a maximum 3-minute audio file as part of their poster presentation. This can be prepared directly through PowerPoint. Full recording instructions are available here. Poster presentations with an audio recording should be saved and uploaded as a MPEG-4 Video (.mp4) file. MSVirtual2020 Poster Presentations will be made available on demand at 9:00 ET on Friday, September 11, 2020. Throughout the course of the meeting, MSVirtual2020 participants will be able to engage in conversation with presenting authors through an online chat feature. Participants will also have the opportunity to email the presenting author directly. Poster presenters are strongly encouraged to respond to questions and/or comments through Saturday, September 26, 2020. Full instructions will be sent following notification of acceptance.
LATE BREAKING & COVID-19 POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Late Breaking and COVID-19 poster presenters must submit their poster presentation by Friday, September 11, 2020. Late Breaking and COVID-19 Poster Presentations will be made available on demand at 9:00 ET on Friday, September 25, 2020. MSVirtual2020 participants will be able to engage in conversation with presenting authors through an online chat feature or email the presenting author directly. Late Breaking and COVID-19 poster presenters are strongly encouraged to respond to questions and/or comments for at least two weeks following the release of poster presentations. Full instructions will be sent following notification of acceptance.
MSVirtual2020 Oral Presentations will feature video and audio from presenter with slides in a pre-recorded presentation.
PREPARATION OF PRESENTATIONS
ORAL PRESENTATIONS OF ABSTRACTS
All presentations will be recorded in advance and presented during the scheduled session broadcast. See the Program at a Glance for the full schedule. Presenting authors are required to participate in the scheduled broadcast and must be present during the full session. Attendees will be able to submit questions and/or comments via a text chat feature that will appear alongside the pre-recorded presentations. A live audio Q&A facilitated by the Session Chair(s) will take place immediately following the presentations. All sessions will be made available on demand following the scheduled broadcast.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS OF LATE BREAKING & COVID-19 ABSTRACTS
Late Breaking and COVID-19 oral presenters must submit their presentation by Friday, September 11, 2020. The Late Breaking News session is scheduled to broadcast as a special encore on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 9:00 ET, followed by the Special Session: COVID-19 at 10:45 ET. Presenting authors will receive an email with full instructions once their presentation is accepted, including information on scheduling a technical check of computer and pre-recording of oral presentation with MSVirtual2020 staff as well as virtual platform training.
